Cloud Software Engineer at Red Alpha, AWS ProServe Partner - 9/2024-Present
During my time at Red Alpha, I’ve been a partner for AWS ProServe. On ProServe engagements, I’ve been helping customers move from aging on-premise enterprise systems to fully cloud-native environments. This work has ranged from drafting migration plans to building full “production-ready prototypes”.
Senior Software Engineer at Rupa Health - 12/2022-8/2024

Rupa Health was a Series-A health technology startup. The company had a fantastic mission - to bring root-cause medicine to every person on the planet - and was fully remote, with employees across North and South America. I was a senior developer for the integrations team and a main maintainer of the company’s DevOps infrastructure.
Snippets of what I did here:
- Championed and executed a software refactor that unlocked key business features, reduced friction with partners, and cut time spent manually reviewing results by 40%
- Fully owned end-to-end development for new critical features
- Onboarded and managed integrations with over a dozen partners, continuously building in resilience to integrations that handled over half the company’s order volume
- Built dashboards and internal tooling for key internal stakeholders and operations team members
- Mentored other developers on infrastructure best practice
- Assisted other developers with system design for their projects - my favorite part of the job!
- Built UI experiences in React, APIs in Django/Python, and serverless automations in AWS Lambda

This was my first full time and first software engineer role. I learned everything from how to build prototypes to how to refactor aging production systems that are struggling to keep the lights on, while balancing stakeholder wants and needs.

Student Computer Support Specialist at Oregon State University - 7/1026-6/2018
Tier 1 technical support for the main help desk at OSU. Provided general technical troubleshooting, campus service navigation, and triaged issues for employees and students of various departments.
Software Development Intern at CDK Global - 6/2017-8/2017
Intern on the IAM (Identity and Access Management) team. Along with other interns, built a web-based dashboard and API for tracking the team’s progress on their current initiative. Also worked with another intern on adding UI tests for the IAM team’s user interface, and participated in the team’s Agile/Scrum process.
